T.K. Maxx and Homesense

Launched in 1994, T.K. Maxx introduced off-price retailing to the U.K. and Ireland. Today, T.K. Maxx is the only brick-and-mortar, off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions of significant size in Europe.

T.K. Maxx offers great values in top-brand family apparel and home fashions, including women’s footwear, lingerie, accessories and other merchandise, such as luggage and toys. Some stores feature the Mod Box, a department specifically geared to younger customers, and Gold Label, which features high-end designer labels.

T.K. Maxx ended 2014 with 407 stores, which average approximately 31,000 square feet in size.

T.K. Maxx stores are as flexible as the company is. They have no walls between departments, so they can easily expand and contract merchandise categories to respond to the newest trends and changing customers’ tastes.
T.K. Maxx stores are bright and modern, and their lean, no-frills way of working helps them pass spectacular savings onto their customers. So, don’t expect fancy extras in their stores – just amazing, brands, fashion, prices and quality.

New store criteria:

T.K. Maxx require a minimum store size of 10,000sq/ft with full cover mezzanine.
Homesense require a minimum store size of 10,000 sq/ft plus 8,000 sq/ft mezzanine.
